  • How We Help Open or Close

XPO Cares provides short-term assistance as a nontaxable grant to cover unforeseen expenses as a result of a qualifying event. The event and expenses must have occurred after the applicant's hire date and within twelve months of the eligible event's occurrence. These grants are not loans and do not have to be repaid. Grant amounts will vary based on the nature of the event, the need of the applicant and related expenses requested. XPO Cares is a charitable program; it is not an employee benefit. Therefore, there is no guarantee of assistance or automatic right to aid and certain income limitations may apply depending upon the applicant's circumstances.
